One of Marc’s studio secret’s revealed! “Gee, Sometimes you have to fix things up when the Old Man isn’t looking”

We get many requests for workshops and private instruction through out the year and unfortunately we have not been able to schedule any classes.  We are very sensitive to our customer’s requests and to that end we are going to try to post some videos on this blog demonstrating some of Marc’s working methods ideas, etc which Marc feels might help the art student.  For those who have taken Marc’s workshops in the past you may recall Marc has many interesting opinions and ideas about painting.   Please watch this blog in the new year for these instructional videos and also new paintings for sale.  In the meantime here are some photos of marc working in the studio this week. You can see various sketches on the walls and an unfinished bed painting on the easel showing what Marc,s underpaintings look like. Some people may not know that Marc is also a sculptor. He likes to model portraits and figurines in terracotta.

Since the images and information has been coming out in dribbles , I am going to try to put all the information in one blog along with images to clarify everything.  We are selling a group of mostly never before seen paintings that have been stored in my private studio and accumulated over the years.  The prices range from $300 to $2000 with most pieces selling in the 300 to 1200 range. The prices are fairly firm, being that they are so low to begin with.   The sale is being held at our Forest Ave. gallery, but  out of area sales can be done with Jackie over the phone.  The pictures posted here represent many but not all of the works offered.  Feel free to call Jackie at 949 463 1752 or the gallery at 949 497 4322 with questions. November 19th and 20th we are having a studio sale at our Forest Ave. gallery. At this time we are still organising the paintings. Basically I am gathering up a group of paintings that have been stored at my home studio and will offer them for sale. Many of these paintings were preparatory sketches for works that were sold at our gallery over the years and in many cases the sketch is a great work of art in it’s own right. I think you will find the pricing very reasonable as we intend to make room for new stuff and are in a clearance mode. Many people have already responded with inquiries so I will try to post many of the works with sizes etc.
